Holiday Down Under!

Some photos to share of travels around New Zealand with my Mom and cousin, Angel!
We started in Northland at Paihia and the Bay of Islands...

About to go through the Hole in the Rock!

Angel braves the "drag net" and goes for a wild ride.

Undies or togs? You decide.

Note the bald guy in front of Angel. He was having a hard time standing up. Really, we thought he might drown.

Who's that loser with Angel?

Posing with a Maori warrior at Waitangi Treaty Grounds. We enjoyed an informative and entertaining presentation on New Zealand history put on by Culture North.

Maori meeting house (wharenui) at Waitangi Treaty Grounds

Heaps of tree ferns, William's favourite thing to take pictures of.

Hararu Falls, near Paihia

The coast near the city of Opononi

Two wayward Americans on the Hokianga coastline

More photos to be posted in the days to come, and tons on disk will be sent back home with the travellers! Check back soon...we're BBQing and hoping to get some time on the beach if Wellington will cooperate weather-wise. Also heading to Southland next week!!! More soon...

Hi William

Great pictures! Isn't Northland beautiful. I loved Opononi a lot, but the net on the boat looked like fun as well. Would love to do that.
Cheers
