Ewe's a baaaad sheep!

OK, horror fans (Aunt Renilda and Wanda in particular should take note...also former co-worker Jerry, who was convinced I would become a sheep farmer once I move here...he even went so far as to pick me out a good spot using Google Earth)--Keep your eyes open for the debut of Black Sheep (click link to visit their site) in theatres near you!

Yes, this is your opportunity to get a taste of New Zealand on the big screen, and I guarantee you will not look at your wool sweater the same again! Unlike Lord of the Rings, which chose to charm international audiences with New Zealand's spectacular landscapes, this movie presents the seedy underbelly that is animal husbandry.

To everyone else...well, I cannot say this is the sort of film I would recommend to just anyone, but the truth is that it was so completely stupid that it was funny. I will be very curious to see the American version of Black Sheep, partly to see if the U.S. treatment is as gruesome as the Kiwi one. Also to see how much of the Kiwi dialogue gets changed. Remember the speak like a Kiwi post from Dawn? Well, it comes in very handy when watching this film! When you see those creepy sheeps coming at ya, you better 'rattle your dags' or else!

I love that you created a label just for this post "evil sheep". (At least I hope you won't need it again!)
