First Entry

OK, so I am new to Blogging and must confess that I secretly felt it was silly when hearing others discuss the topic.

Then this whole New Zealand adventure got cranking up and I started thinking it was probably a good idea to start one. Not only will it allow me a method of communicating with family and friends back in the States, but it will also serve as a running commentary (some might call it a diary) of what I'm thinking, feeling and experiencing as this whole thing unfolds.

So, thank you Tommy for reminding me that technology can be a useful ally. And thank you Wil for showing me this site and getting me started. I know for certain that my entries will not be nearly as entertaining as either of yours are, but I'll do my best.

So, I hope you will visit often and that this little tool helps to at the very least give the illusion that Stacey and I are close by, even though we are in the South Pacific.
