Thanks to to the miracles of modern broadcasting, and the internet news reports, we heard there was a nasty ice storm Sunday-Monday in the midwestern U.S. that streaked right across central Missouri and Illionois. I remember those types of storms--very yucky. It feels soooo weird not to be in Winter during the Christmas season, it is really strange. I cannot say I am missing it, but know that Wellington has some evil weather of it's own to throw at us in about 5 months!
Tried calling a couple of people there but lines not going through. Hope things are not too rough back home--just wanted to let you know we were thinking about you. Try to stay warm!!!
